NO.195 is a luxury candle brand inspired by the 195 countries of the world, capturing the spirit of global destinations through scent, design, and storytelling. Each hand-poured candle is a sensory postcard crafted in small batches with sustainable materials and designed to evoke culture, memory, and place. Tailored for the modern, conscious traveller, NO.195 blends travel, craftsmanship, and sustainability to offer immersive, meaningful experiences that linger long after the flame fades.

The main challenge was creating a minimalist, memory-led design that felt both personal and purposeful. Each label was approached with intentional clarity, using typography that reads like a journal entry. The box design features a hand-drawn illustration based on a photo captured while traveling, turning the packaging into a keepsake. A monochromatic palette was used to let scent and story take center stage. The design system is rooted in simplicity, wanderlust, and storytelling. It also embeds sustainable values through small-batch production and eco-conscious material choices.
results.
The final outcome was a conceptually strong, visually minimal candle brand with a cohesive identity. The project demonstrated the power of visual storytelling in product packaging showing how every detail, from a line drawing to the choice of typography, can evoke emotion. It also offered valuable insight into balancing creative expression with functional design. The process encouraged a deeper consideration of how a product exists not only visually, but how it lives on a shelf, integrates into a home, and lingers in memory.
